Senior Electrical Engineer with Specialization in Planning and Development

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with development towards expert for the DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH in Frankfurt (Main) or Saarbrücken.
Your Responsibilities:
- As an expert in electrical engineering, you will have the opportunity to specialize in various fields and technologies, including electrical planning and inspection.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of electrical planning and inspection for projects in the 50Hz electrical sector or overhead line systems.
- You will work with your team to ensure that complex projects are completed successfully, and you will make decisions on site to ensure that the project is completed on time.
- You will ensure that the company's electrical systems comply with relevant laws, regulations, and technical standards.
- You will evaluate complex technical solutions and ensure that they meet the company's requirements.
- You will provide expert advice to colleagues and stakeholders on technical matters and complex planning issues.
- You will undergo extensive training and gain valuable experience in electrical engineering projects to become certified as a planning and inspection expert.
Your Profile:
- You have a degree in electrical engineering, regulation technology, communication technology, railway systems, or a related field.
- You have extensive knowledge and experience as an electrical engineer and have taken on complex planning tasks with a high degree of autonomy.
- You have experience in the construction and operation of electrical systems and have a deep understanding of the railway industry.
- You may have already been recognized by the German Federal Railway Authority (EBA) as a planning and inspection expert.
- You are able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations and can assert your opinions even in the face of resistance.
- You are goal-oriented and results-driven, and you can handle complex issues responsibly without losing your pragmatism.
- You are willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, or nights, to ensure the smooth operation of Germany's trains.
- We require you to be physically fit and to undergo regular health checks. You must also hold a valid Class B driving license.
