Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Schedule Coordinator to join our team. As a Schedule Coordinator, you will be responsible for excellent project scheduling in complex railway electrification projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and coordinating the overall scheduling with integration of sub-projects across all project phases in alignment with the project manager.
  • Enforcing scheduling issues and escalating to the project management in cases of conflict.
  • Monitoring adherence to deadlines and project progress and regularly updating the project schedule.
  • Recognizing deviations from the plan (target/actual comparison) and independently coordinating countermeasures with the sub-projects.
  • Providing support in providing evidence for claims against third parties.
  • Preparing the project schedule reporting for the project team, project management, and management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree (bachelor) in a technical or business administration specialization.
  • Several years of relevant and international professional experience in the scheduling of technically complex infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of the planning tools Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • A background in railway engineering is an advantage, but you must be at home in a technically complex environment.
  • Impressive communication skills, organizational talent, and a systematic way of working.
  • A very good command of English and a willingness to travel. A good command of German language is also required.
