At Voi, we are dedicated to revolutionizing urban transportation. Since our inception in 2018, we have rapidly expanded and now proudly stand as the leading e-scooter operator across Europe, with operations in numerous cities.
As a Fleet Manager, you will oversee the daily operational activities in the field and within our warehouses. Your role will encompass managing the fleet of vehicles and the necessary facilities to ensure efficient local operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and enhance operational workflows by implementing best practices while also contributing innovative solutions to the broader fleet management community.
- Ensure seamless operations, which include field logistics, repair services, and facility management, both in daily activities and during negotiations with property owners.
- Drive operational excellence through constant monitoring of key performance indicators and taking prompt action to enhance performance alongside your team.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics partners on both strategic and operational levels, supported by your team.
- Take ownership of achieving defined operational targets in your designated area, including budgetary goals related to operational costs.
- Recruit, onboard, and motivate the necessary personnel to maintain continuous business operations.
- Plan and optimize workforce and facility capacity to minimize operational costs.
- Maximize vehicle availability by ensuring that our fleet is operational and accessible to users for extended hours.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment while striving for top-tier performance.
- Guarantee a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations for our vehicles, facilities, and personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing a large team.
- Strong understanding of business management principles, financial acumen, and proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Exceptional communication skills with experience engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and structure tasks with minimal oversight.
- Willingness to spend up to 90% of your time on-site and travel as necessary.
