Construction Cost Estimator Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Construction Cost Estimator to join our team at STRABAG AG. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will play a crucial role in preparing cost estimates for road and underground construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for infrastructure development projects
• Calculate costs for in-house construction work and obtain quotes from subcontractors
• Conduct independent quantity take-off based on construction plans
• Participate in project meetings and pricing committees
• Create order calculations and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain accurate cost calculation data

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Prior experience in construction management or cost estimation is highly desirable
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with accounting and estimation software (e.g. iTWO) is a plus
• Self-motivated, team player with an entrepreneurial mindset
