Financial Controller

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team at Wink as a Group Accounting Manager. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial and accounting functions for the Wink Group, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for the group, in accordance with German GAAP.
• Develop and implement process improvements, digitalization, and automation of accounting and liquidity management processes.
• Establish and maintain an international group reporting system.
• Act as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
• Collaborate with the CFO to support growth projects, including the establishment of new locations and M&A activities.

About You

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced accounting professional with a strong background in financial accounting and a proven track record of process improvement and digitalization. You should have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

• Completed degree in a relevant field (e.g. accounting, finance) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent German and English language skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally for business purposes.
