Procurement Strategist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Strategist to join our team at Discover International. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products across our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Support demand planning and collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure on-time delivery.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of supply chain metrics, reports, and KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Assist in identifying potential risks and mitigating supply chain disruptions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the supply chain process.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in supply planning, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office tools, especially Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
