Job Summary:
Analog Devices is seeking a highly skilled Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to join our automotive Battery Management Systems (BMS) group. As a key contributor to the development of our next generation products, you will be responsible for designing and developing ultra-high performance instrumentation ICs that measure battery cell voltages and currents in and around the high-voltage battery pack of electric vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop precision instrumentation ADCs and DSPs, including trimming and other error cancellation techniques
- Develop mixed-signal control systems and design of digitally-assisted analog circuits
- Design ICs for effective production test
- Develop system concepts and architectures based on customer and internal requirements, including towards functional safety (ISO26262)
- Support pre-silicon verification, including analog modeling using RNM and UDTs
- Support bench evaluation and other post-silicon verification activities
What You'll Learn:
- Become familiar with our BMS portfolio
- Work on system design for one of our next product ICs
- Work on design-for-test, enabling the production test engineer to test ICs as soon as they get the wafers
- Learn and contribute to our mixed-signal design and verification methodology
Requirements:
- Experienced in IC design and development
- Strong understanding of mixed-signal design and verification
- Experience with industry-standard tools for design and verification
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
