Global Sales Director for 3D Sensor Solutions

Position Overview:

As the Global Sales Director for SmartRay GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales initiatives across Europe and Asia. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve and surpass annual sales objectives on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and tactics to meet defined targets.
  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within the market.
  • Establish sales quotas and forecast expected sales volumes and profits for both existing and new product lines.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales managers located in key regions including China, South Korea, Malaysia, and Europe.
  • Build and maintain robust, long-term relationships with strategic accounts and partners.
  • Collaborate with customers, including OEMs and system integrators, to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Provide insights on market dynamics, including trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success as a sales executive, consistently meeting or exceeding targets in the automation and vision sectors.
  • Extensive experience as a Senior Sales Manager or Sales Director in the Asian market within the automation and vision industries.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken German and English; proficiency in additional Asian languages is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Asia and Europe.
