Security Operations Specialist

About the Role
As a Security Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our organization's information assets. You will be responsible for monitoring security threats, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Monitor security systems and alerts for suspicious activity, investigating incidents promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the secure configuration and operation of networks, systems, and applications.
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, recommending appropriate countermeasures.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on security best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in information security, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.
