Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced procurement professional to join our team as a Senior Consultant Value Creation in Procurement. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cost reduction measures and product group optimization plans for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective cost reduction measures and product group optimization plans for procurement departments
- Conduct potential analyses, create tenders, and apply commercial and technical purchasing levers to drive cost savings
- Support make-or-buy decisions and provide strategic guidance on procurement category management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- Master's degree from a well-known university
- At least 3 years of professional experience in procurement or a related field
- Deep understanding of procurement principles and practices, including category management, commodity group strategies, and material cost reduction
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive results
- Fluency in English and German, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
