Job Title: Business Development Director Automotive

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team at Arrow Electronics, Inc. in Germany. As a key member of our Global Supply Chain Services division, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a single point of contact for targeted critical, large, multi-location, complex, and high visibility Arrow customers.
  • Discover and execute on opportunities for sales of Arrow's Global Supply Chain Solutions to large enterprise accounts.
  • Develop relationships with key personnel in operations, finance, and supply chain at targeted accounts.
  • Utilize relationships distribution/rep/supplier community to grow sales and profits within target customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, finance, marketing, or equivalents.
  • 10-12 years of success B2B solution selling to the largest European Tier 1 and OEM Strategic Accounts.
  • Automotive decision maker network at OEMs a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of key account selling, electronic components distribution, and global supply chain industries.
  • Expert consultative sales skills and the ability to convert leads into opportunities.
