About Thermosphr

We are a pioneering ClimateTech/PropTech startup in Europe, backed by top investors. Our mission is to reduce energy consumption in commercial buildings through innovative software solutions. By integrating our optimization software, we help real estate players decrease their carbon footprint, achieving tangible results in GWh and tons of CO2. Our team is passionate about making a positive impact on the planet.

About the Development Team

Our dynamic development team consists of three dedicated professionals, working remotely and fostering a supportive environment. We utilize agile methodologies to ensure flexibility and continuous improvement in our development processes. Our team collaborates closely, valuing everyone's input.

We leverage Azure DevOps for project management and CI/CD pipelines, streamlining workflows and efficient delivery. Our projects involve creating robust tools for our operations team and customers, focusing on enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.

We work full stack, allowing you to work on both backend and frontend. Our backend stack primarily consists of Python web services, using FastAPI, and our infrastructure is managed with Terraform on Google Cloud. For the frontend, we use and TypeScript, enabling us to build responsive and dynamic user interfaces.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Strong focus on high-quality code, including familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Python using FastAPI or other similar frameworks for building web services.
  • Highly driven with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with Development Process Management Tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or other.
  • Strong communication skills in English.

Desirable Skills

  • Proficiency in front-end development using and TypeScript.
  • Experience with cloud services, specifically Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Security analysis and security scans.

  • Interview Process: Expect at least two interviews: one with our Development team and another with our CTO. We value your experience and insights, so there won't be a formal coding interview. Instead, we're keen to hear about the projects you've worked on and your approach to problem-solving.
