We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our teams at Amazon Transportation Service (ATS). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and ensuring the efficient delivery of packages to our customers.
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of Area Managers, leading operational teams on a shift, and analyzing shift performance against relevant business objectives. You will also work closely with other support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop a team of Area Managers to achieve operational excellence
- Lead operational teams on a shift, deal with issues, and positively impact site performance
- Analyze shift performance against relevant business objectives and put in place actions to improve operational excellence
- Work closely with other support teams to ensure seamless operations
As an Operations Manager, you will lead shifts at one of our operational sites and be the key link between a number of teams, including finance, safety, and operations integration teams. You will be responsible for mentoring and coaching your team, providing leadership and support to help them achieve their best.
You will also be responsible for designing and delivering initiatives across the sites to improve operational performance. This will involve working closely with other teams to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive efficiency and excellence.

Requirements- A degree in a relevant field
- Relevant experience in people and stakeholder management
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and intermediate proficiency in the local language
- Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
- Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques
- Experience in a similar logistical working environment
- Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
