About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Cloud Services team at IGEL Technology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional concepts and architectures for our cloud-based services.
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using JavaScript, MongoDB, and Access Management.
  • Lead the design and implementation of APIs and microservices.
  • Manage the deployment and operation of microservices on Kubernetes clusters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services.
  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and monitoring.
  • Process support requests with high complexity and footprint.
  • Lead and participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback.
  • Take ownership of code quality and enforce coding standards.
  • Implement coding standards and best practices, and identify and address performance bottlenecks.
  • Documentations meeting needs of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about security best practices and vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure reliable and efficient deployment process.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior team members.

Requirements

  • University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years professional experience.
  • Heavyweight of experience in backend development.
  • Expert in the field of JavaScript, MongoDB, and Access Management.
  • In-Depth technological knowledge and knowledge of continuous integration, build, and release management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Critical and independent thinker who is able to analyze complex technical concepts.
  • Provide innovative solutions.
  • Effective collaboration, also within cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuous learner: staying abreast of industry standards, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to work without supervision.
