Role Overview

As a Working Student in Automotive Software Engineering, you will engage in various tasks that contribute to the development of innovative automotive solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programming and Debugging: You will be responsible for programming and debugging new application examples for our hardware using C.
  • Design Creation: You will create graphical designs for modern automotive dashboards that will be utilized in our application demonstrations.
  • Setup Maintenance: You will update our Head-Up Display (HUD) demo setup to ensure it remains functional and up-to-date.
  • Testing Support: You will assist in testing our example applications to ensure quality and performance.
  • Edge AI Projects: You will work on pilot projects involving Edge AI, contributing to the advancement of AI technologies in automotive applications.
Qualifications
  • Academic Background: Currently enrolled in a degree program in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Programming Skills: Proficient in C/C++ programming, with experience in software compilers and debuggers (e.g., MSVC, GHS, IAR, or GCC). Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN and Git is essential. Knowledge of Python or Rust is advantageous.
  • Soldering Knowledge: Basic knowledge in soldering is required.
  • Personal Attributes: A self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Team Collaboration: An open-minded team player who values working in an international environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Good command of both German and English, written and spoken.

  • Part-Time Work: The position is designed to accommodate your studies, allowing for a maximum of 20 hours per week during the lecture period.
