Senior C++ Build Pipeline Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C++ Build Pipeline Developer to join our team at Crytek. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining our CMake-based C++ compilation pipeline.

Responsibilities
  • Enhance and maintain CryEngine's CMake-based C++ compilation pipeline.
  • Collaborate closely with programmers and build engineers to continuously improve the pipeline.
  • Ensure the stability of the pipeline for programmers and CI systems.
  • Optimize the pipeline to make the best use of CPU resources.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a relevant field.
  • Proficient in CMake.
  • Knowledge in scripting languages.
  • Experience with debugging and resolving C++ compilation/linker errors.
  • Familiar with large-scale configurable projects.
  • Familiar with building for multiple platforms (e.g. Windows PC, Linux PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Android, iOS).
  • Familiar with CMake toolchains and generators (e.g. Ninja, MSBuild).
  • Familiar with MSVC, Clang, GCC compilers and their options (at least one of them).
  • Working in a Windows environment.
  • Solid English skills, excellent communication skills with strong affinity for transparency.
