Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Project Manager to join our team at Valeo. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating customer projects from development to series production readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and control customer projects for Commercial Vehicles (Omnibus) in the development phase up to series production readiness.
- Lead and coordinate internal interdisciplinary project teams with members from various locations, including development, quality, purchasing, sales, and production.
- Ensure cost, schedule, and quality compliance to achieve customer and Valeo milestones.
- Adhere to Valeo Project Management standards, methods, and tools.
- Prepare and present project progress and escalation issues to internal steering committees and customers.
Requirements:
- Completed studies in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable field with additional qualifications.
- Several years of professional experience in project management, preferably in the bus/commercial vehicle industry.
- Confident and entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and assert oneself.
- Business fluent German and good English skills.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes.
