At Optimus Search, we're seeking a skilled C/C++ Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative in-car software solutions. Our client is a leading provider of complex software solutions for the automotive industry, and we're looking for a talented individual to help shape the future of this exciting field.

About the Role

  • Develop low-level software in C/C++ for areas such as startup, software updates, security, or power management.
  • Manage the entire software development process, from requirement analysis to architecture design and verification.
  • Participate in architecture and code reviews.
  • Communicate directly with clients and international project partners to find pragmatic solutions.
  • Share your knowledge and experience with colleagues and through internal team training sessions.

Requirements

  • Excellent C/C++ skills, preferably with experience in newer versions (C++14).
  • Proficient in using Linux as an operating system.
  • Independent work style and ability to automate routine tasks with Bash and Python.
  • Motivated by complex problems and driven to find simple solutions.
  • Fluent in both German and English, with strong communication skills for an international project environment.
