Responsibilities
- Implementation of intricate automation processes in DNA and protein generation and analysis utilizing advanced liquid handling automation systems and their integration with IT and database systems (e.g., Epmotion, Beckmann, etc.)
- Production of nucleic acids and proteins (including in silico design and registration of novel proteins, creation, registration, and generation of plasmids, plasmid maps, and gene syntheses through established and innovative techniques, transient or stable expression in prokaryotic and eukaryotic host cells, nucleic acid and protein analysis) Development and execution of protocols for the purification and characterization of proteins, providing these for biochemical and preclinical studies, along with the application of biochemical and biophysical methodologies (HPLC, FPLC, UV and fluorescence spectroscopy, and other analytical techniques)
- Processing and evaluation of results using specialized software and corresponding documentation; independent management of laboratory operations and oversight of equipment
Your qualifications
- Completed scientific education, e.g., as MTA or BTA
- Proficiency in DNA methodologies, PCR, and liquid handling
- Experience with proteins and antibodies
- Familiarity with automation processes
- Strong command of English is essential
- Ability to independently develop new methodologies
- IT proficiency (solid knowledge of MS Office/Google)
