Stirling Dynamics is seeking a highly skilled Senior Landing Gear Systems Specialist to join our team in Munich, Germany.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in landing gear related activities, including design, development, and certification. They will be responsible for delivering landing gear systems support to our business and clients, which includes activities such as:
- Eliciting system/equipment level requirements from customer requirements
- Supporting design, development, and certification activities, including V&V (Validation and Verification)
- Preparing and checking documentation for the design process
- Running/supporting/attending internal and external design reviews
- Supporting certification planning activities, test analysis, and documentation
- Supporting system and equipment level modifications
- Working to resolve in-service issues
- Creation, management, and delivery according to specific work packages
The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a related discipline and possess highly developed interpersonal skills, including a diplomatic and professional approach when dealing with people. They will also have the ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and have good organisational skills.
The personal qualities of the candidate will be key to success in this role, which demands a self-motivated attitude, a professional approach, and good organisational skills. The candidate must be able to identify with the characteristics and qualities detailed below:
- An ability to manage multiple tasks, to work independently when required, and the organisation and drive to follow defined processes through to a successful outcome
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including a diplomatic and professional approach when dealing with people

The contract can be managed as outside IR35, but we can also consider inside IR35 or fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be based in Munich, Germany and will have the right to work in Germany already, but we may be able to support a visa if required.
