Sales Engineer for Specialized Machinery (m/w/d)

The Special Machinery division, a key segment of the Schaeffler Group, provides an extensive array of products and technologies tailored for clients across the automotive, industrial, medical technology, and consumer goods industries.


Your responsibilities:

  • Design and implement technical solutions for clients in assembly, testing, and handling systems across automotive, industrial, and medical technology sectors.
  • Facilitate customer meetings and provide technical clarifications to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop concepts for varying degrees of automation.
  • Conduct cost estimations and assess specifications, including the preparation of proposals.
  • Work in close collaboration with relevant departments and technical experts.
  • Present proposals to clients, ensure follow-up, and secure orders.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Several years of experience in custom machinery, ideally within the special machinery sector.
  • Expertise in technical project management and sales of machinery and equipment.
  • Familiarity with assembly, feeding, and handling technologies, including robotics.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English, with a readiness to travel internationally.
  • Methodical work style with a focus on customer-oriented communication.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to work autonomously.
