About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Buyer to join our team at Lidl in Deutschland. As a Product Buyer, you will be responsible for the international development of our shoe products, from concept to finished product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement international product strategies for our shoe range, working closely with our product development team and suppliers.
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in our shoe products.
  • Collaborate with our procurement team to negotiate contracts with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, from design to launch, ensuring that products meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Work closely with our marketing team to develop effective marketing strategies for our shoe products.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product buying or a related field, with a strong background in shoe products.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Fluent German and English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
