The Xetra/Eurex IT Operations and Eurex OTC Operations teams are tasked with the software deployment, testing, and management of Deutsche Börse Clearing applications, specifically focusing on OTC Calypso and SwCS.
This group is responsible for the operational and technical oversight of acceptance testing, simulation, and production environments for OTC Calypso, collaborating closely with both IT and business units.
Key activities include conducting technical tests, automating monitoring and operational processes, and delivering second-level support for production operations. Our team also plays a crucial role in the rollout of the new SwCS system, which operates on the OpenShift platform.
You will be part of a meticulously maintained environment characterized by mission-critical, high-performance, and high-availability systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily support and operational management for the Eurex Clearing system on RedHat Linux and OpenShift platforms. Execute software installations and configure settings within both Acceptance Test and Production systems. Assist with business test scenarios and conduct independent technical tests. Diagnose and resolve technical issues and challenges. Offer second-level support to both external and internal clients, adhering to the established shift schedule. Participate in shift rotations a few days each month, including on-call duties and occasional weekend responsibilities. Maintain and update the operations handbook. Design, develop, and enhance existing and new operational tools.Candidate Profile:
Proven experience and knowledge in Calypso software, back-office operations, and configurations. Familiarity with the RedHat OpenShift Platform is advantageous. Proficient in system management with Linux (Red Hat Enterprise). Practical experience in Linux scripting (bash, python, etc.) and SQL. Hands-on experience with command-line interface (CLI) tools (oc). Eagerness to learn and a collaborative working approach. A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience. A strong interest in the challenges associated with building, operating, and maintaining high-availability production systems. Proficient communication skills in both verbal and written English. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Additional Skills:
