We are seeking a highly skilled System Manager to lead the development of electrical systems for our Smart Vehicle PowerNet. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and taking ownership of the system's design and architecture.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement system design and architecture for Smart Vehicle PowerNet
- Coordinate development teams to ensure system integration and functionality
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and eliminating weak points
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop innovative solutions in vehicle electrics and electronics
- Conduct risk analyses and create safety concepts
- Participate in the further development of standards and methods in PowerNet systems
- Test, approve, and support prototype construction and series production start-up
- Ensure clean documentation in the MB system world and transparent communication with project partners
- Prepare, implement, and document system releases
- Co-design processes to achieve quality, deadline, and cost targets
- Monitor the market and competition, technical progress, and relevant legal regulations
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, physics, or a comparable field of study
- Sound experience in system development
- Experience as a system manager for vehicle electrical systems
- Sound technical understanding of hardware (electronics), software, and mechanics
- Experience with common measurement and diagnostic devices (e.g. Vector Tools, CANoe, CANalyzer)
- Experience in series development and supplier management of automotive projects
- Experience in testing and validating complex systems and functions
- Experience in managing a project team
- Advanced knowledge of DNG & Jira
- Experience in functional safety processes, methods, and tools
