FERCHAU Automotive GmbH is seeking a dedicated Software Testing Engineer - Automotive to contribute to our team in Wolfsburg. As a Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of hardware-related software within the automotive industry.
Your primary responsibilities will encompass:
- Conducting thorough testing of various software versions directly within vehicles or on dedicated test setups.
- Evaluating user requirements for testability and providing valuable feedback.
- Recording and meticulously analyzing vehicle data (Traces), generating comprehensive error tickets for resolution.
- Analyzing, documenting, and effectively communicating test results to relevant departments.
- Collaborating closely with software developers, suppliers, and component owners to ensure seamless integration and quality assurance.

Your Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle bus systems (ODIS, CAN, CANoe, etc.).
- ISTQB Certified Tester qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics and testing of hardware-related software.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
