About the Team

In this position, you will be part of our Chapter Data & AI Engineering, a team of experts who deliver data and AI engineering capabilities to our product teams. Our team is organized to enhance functional skillsets, improve E.ON's MLOps & AIOps tech stack, and deliver high-quality data delivery & model automation.

Your Tasks

  • Perform complex data analysis using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to solve critical business problems.
  • Enhance decision-making processes in the home energy management systems domain by delivering data analysis.
  • Design, build, and deploy predictive models and algorithms; ensure scalability and integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Oversee data science projects from conception to deployment and their ongoing maintenance.
  • Ensure timely delivery and adherence to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments and business units while working in cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data.

About You

  • You have an advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • You have long-term and profound experience in data science or a related field, with a proven track record of leading successful data-driven projects.
  • You have expertise in programming languages such as Python, and experience with data manipulation tools (SQL, Pandas) and machine learning frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence business decisions.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategies.
