Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all commercial elements related to the assigned project, including the formulation and negotiation of essential commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Ensure the comprehensive delivery of the project's commercial business case.
  • Collaborate closely with the (Senior) General Project Manager on all commercial matters pertaining to the project.
  • Work in tandem with various group functions that support project delivery (e.g., Controlling, Procurement, Accounting, etc.).
  • Together with the (Senior) General Project Manager, ensure the project aligns with Uniper's legal, commercial, and governance standards.
  • Prepare and coordinate all pertinent commercial information and documentation for regular Project Committee meetings and significant decisions/approvals related to the project.
  • Maintain active communication and relationships with key commercial partners involved in the project.
  • Collaborate with the (Senior) General Project Manager to ensure the project is completed on schedule, within budget, and meets defined quality standards.

Candidate Profile

  • A university degree in relevant fields such as business administration, law, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Over 5 years of professional experience in the energy sector.
  • Proven experience in a commercial management capacity within the power and gas industry, focusing on large capital expenditure asset projects and significant commercial contracts.
  • Strong conceptual and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Experience working in international teams.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to integrate into diverse cultures and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment.
  • A proactive approach and determination to achieve set objectives.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Commitment to fostering a psychologically safe and inclusive workplace, embodying the Uniper Way.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
