Senior Manager Role in Data Engineering

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Manager to enhance our Data Engineering division. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients on premium software solutions and services, overseeing proficient project teams, and facilitating the digital evolution of numerous large enterprises. Your main objective will be to provide solutions that leverage data acquisition, processing, storage/retrieval, as well as both in-stream and batch analytics on a significant scale.

As a recognized authority with a robust programming foundation, you will be integrated into our enthusiastic and skilled community of Data Engineers committed to crafting optimal solutions for our clients. Contribute to nurturing a culture of continuous learning and teamwork.

Essential Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the major public-cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Fluency in German
  • Background as a client-focused technical consultant
  • Proficiency in developing data pipelines for both streaming and batch integrations utilizing tools/frameworks such as Airflow, Spark, Glue, and other cloud-native services
  • Advanced skills in Python or Java/Scala, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL
  • Experience in data modeling, warehouse architecture, and fact/dimension implementations
  • Expertise in managing code repositories and continuous integration processes
  • Proven track record with data platforms, including comprehensive data pipeline execution
  • Familiarity with OpenStack
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Experience with Databricks and Snowflake
