Student Assistant (m/w/d) in Software Quality Assurance

Position Overview

We are a growing IT firm specializing in the telecommunications sector. With nearly 12 years of experience, we leverage our deep industry knowledge, innovative technology, and proprietary software platform to streamline complex processes for our clients. Our team of over 90 colleagues at vitroconnect GmbH is dedicated to delivering exceptional solutions, and we are looking for motivated students to join our Software Quality Assurance team.

Your Responsibilities
  • Reproduce, analyze, and evaluate software issues
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving errors and challenges
  • Create and maintain test cases based on specifications
  • Generate test data
  • Execute test cases and document results and defects
  • Collaborate with our development team
Your Profile
  • You are an enrolled student in (Business) Informatics or a related field (minimum of 3 semesters completed)
  • You possess a strong interest and foundational knowledge in software development and quality assurance processes
  • Ideally, you have been introduced to programming or scripting languages during your studies
  • You are helpful, enjoy tackling problems, and are eager to find creative solutions
  • You thrive in a team environment, are curious, and have a keen interest in new technologies and solutions
  • You have excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
