Department Head

Position Overview:

Hundhausen-Bau GmbH Eisenach is seeking a highly skilled Department Head / Senior Construction Manager to lead our Civil Engineering department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the department's operations, managing personnel, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

• Lead and manage the Civil Engineering department as a profit center, driving business growth and profitability.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve departmental efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Manage and lead a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
• Oversee project budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
• Negotiate with clients and subcontractors to secure contracts and ensure successful project execution.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong business acumen, with excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
