Strategic Purchaser

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Purchaser to join our team at Carl Walther GmbH & Co. Produktions KG. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality products and services to support our business operations.

• Initiate and manage procurement processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
• Source and evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address procurement-related issues.
• Manage and resolve supplier-related complaints and issues.
• Support the procurement leadership team in developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, with a strong background in business and economics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical purchasing, with a proven track record of success.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address procurement-related issues.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other procurement software tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
