Your RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Perception Algorithm Developer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing cutting-edge algorithms that enable our autonomous vehicles to perceive and understand their surroundings accurately.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement innovative algorithms for environment perception in autonomous driving systems, focusing on multi-sensor data fusion and object tracking.
- Contribute to the development of software solutions that enhance the perception capabilities of our vehicles, ultimately improving safety and passenger comfort.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers and researchers to push the boundaries of state-of-the-art methods in computer vision and machine learning.
- Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of algorithms to ensure their robustness, accuracy, and real-time performance.
- Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on C++ programming.
- In-depth knowledge of algorithms and data structures, particularly in the areas of data fusion, probabilistic state estimation, object tracking, clustering, and association.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques, including deep neural networks, 3D computer vision, and supervised learning applied to computer vision tasks such as object detection.
- Experience in developing real-time autonomous systems, including target hardware optimization.
- Strong understanding of sensor technologies, especially lidar, radar, and camera systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
