Join Our Team as a Propulsion Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Propulsion Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Lilium. As a key member of our manufacturing engineering team, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for propulsion systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design for manufacturability and assembly
  • Drive capability acquisition of new technologies and systems to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing process
  • Mentor and train team members on manufacturing processes and technologies
  • Ensure technology development demonstrator roadmaps include manufacturing feasibility trials during design development

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in manufacturing engineering roles, preferably in aerospace or automotive manufacturing
  • Demonstrated deep involvement in 2 or more high-impact programs from start of design, through ramp-up, to post-production
  • Strong collaborator with proven decision-making and conflict resolution experience
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, supply chain quality, or industrial engineering relating to propulsion
