Position Overview

Become a key player in the world's foremost local delivery service.

We are in search of a Lead Software Developer (Java/Kotlin) (all genders) to become part of the Vendor Growth team as we strive to consistently provide exceptional experiences.

Our focus is on developing management solutions for restaurants and local retailers within the global food delivery sector, empowering our vendors to excel in their respective markets.

The Vendor Growth team is dedicated to creating product solutions that facilitate menu management, promotional offers, order processing, and the digital transformation of vendors' daily operations through self-service functionalities, while also delivering comprehensive analytical insights into their business performance. We provide both web and mobile applications supported by extensive data pipelines tailored for diverse markets and customer segments.

Join us in automating customized business enhancement recommendations for our vendors and brands, assisting them with insightful data analysis, and steering the daily operations of our partners towards optimal commercial results.

**Your Responsibilities:**

  • You will develop vendor and operational platforms to enhance the efficiency of restaurants and brands.
  • You will create various services that communicate both synchronously and asynchronously with other backend systems and modular UI components.
  • You are committed to building dependable, scalable systems capable of handling high concurrency and are always keen to explore new programming languages and technologies.
  • Your contributions will have a significant impact, as your ideas and efforts are valued.

**Your Qualifications:**

  • At least 5 years of experience managing high-traffic, large-scale applications.
  • Proven expertise as a Software Developer in Java, Kotlin, or other programming languages.
  • Strong background in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, showcasing proficiency in cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • In-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
  • Familiarity with common monitoring, alerting, and logging tools like Prometheus, Datadog, ELK stack, and distributed tracing.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of code quality, automated testing, and engineering practices.

  • Ability to make independent decisions and take ownership of your work.
  • Proficiency in English at a professional level.
