Junior Consultant in Deal Advisory (w/m/d)

Join KPMG in addressing the future challenges faced by our clients. Immerse yourself in the diverse range of inquiries we tackle and make a significant impact alongside us. As a Junior Consultant (w/m/d), you will collaborate with your team in the realm of KPMG, engaging in complex issues such as mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, corporate restructuring, and the valuation of business assets.

Through our structured program for recent graduates, you will gain exposure to two of the following areas over a 12-month period, ultimately specializing in one:

  • Mergers & Acquisitions / Financing Advisory
  • Restructuring / Turnaround Management
  • Strategic Consulting
  • Transaction Advisory / Financial Due Diligence
  • Valuation / Business Appraisal

Upon request and agreement, the program can be extended to 18 months, allowing for an additional area of focus. We invite you to embark on your journey with us and look forward to engaging tasks ahead.

Your Responsibilities

  • From the outset, you will take on thematic responsibilities independently.
  • You will assess companies, intangible and tangible assets, as well as strategic alternatives.
  • Your role will involve providing value-oriented advice and support for corporate acquisitions and divestitures.
  • You will assist in acquisition and corporate financing processes.
  • Additionally, you will participate in due diligence or carve-out processes, including the identification and evaluation of buyers and acquisition targets.
  • You will prepare restructuring reports and concepts, guiding the restructuring processes.
  • You will support our clients with all accounting-related inquiries during corporate transactions and IPOs.
Your Profile
  • To become a Junior Consultant (w/m/d) in Deal Advisory, you should possess an excellent academic background in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or Natural Sciences (e.g., Mathematics) with a keen interest in economic contexts.
  • Prior relevant experience through internships or student employment is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in both German and English is essential.
  • You should be willing to travel to provide on-site support to our clients.
