IT Security Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Officer to join our team at Stadtwerke Essen. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.
Key Responsibilities- Support the IT Security Officer in the management and coordination of security processes, including the analysis of existing IT security infrastructures, monitoring of security incidents, and remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Conduct training sessions on IT security and collaborate with external partners and authorities.
- Lead or co-lead IT projects, responsible for project budgets, planning, and control, as well as integrating IT security objectives into project planning.
- Identify and implement new technologies and solutions to improve the IT infrastructure.
- Report directly to the IT Security Officer and act as their deputy.
- A degree in a relevant field such as IT security, computer science, or business informatics.
- Several years of experience in IT security and project management, as well as business knowledge.
- Proven knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as IT-SIG, ITSiKat, ISO, and BSI-KritisV.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
