Lead Product Strategist for Hydrogen Solutions

to be based in our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage our proprietary and partnered Electrolyser and green Hydrogen products within the energy trading sector.
  • Implement the green hydrogen value chain in our Business Unit Customers.
  • Facilitate collaboration between the Renewable Energy Sources Power Purchase Agreement (RES PPA) team and our green hydrogen production and customer base.
  • Oversee the commercial success and lifecycle of products from initial offering through operations and necessary adjustments to phase-out at contract completion.
  • Translate market valuations into actionable commercial strategies and enhance Vattenfall's internal and customer-facing solutions.
  • Coordinate with our sales and origination teams, as well as key stakeholders in BA Wind and BU Assets.
  • Lead the development and collaboration of potential partnerships alongside our assets and agreements.
  • Conduct proactive monitoring of market trends and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks within our portfolio.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses of our products, customer data, and other relevant information sources.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a commercial or technical field or a comparable qualification.
  • Significant professional experience in the energy sector, particularly in renewable energies.
  • A deep understanding of and network within the renewable energy landscape.
  • Experience with Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Hydrogen Purchase Agreements (HPAs) in the energy trading domain.
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • A high level of initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential; additional language skills such as Swedish, German, or Dutch are advantageous.
