Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
- Accompany patients and their families through the coding process on our interdisciplinary intensive care unit
- Support the optimization of documentation in patient records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care
- Monitor and improve coding quality
- Organize and communicate with internal and external partners to ensure seamless patient care
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced medical coding specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in healthcare management or a related field, as well as several years of experience in a hospital setting. A certification in medical coding is a plus. The candidate should be able to work independently, be flexible, and have excellent communication skills. Proficiency in a hospital information system (preferably Orbis) is required.
