Responsibilities:

TÜV SÜD Global Risk Consultants (GRC) stands as a premier provider of unbundled property loss control services globally, delivering a comprehensive range of offerings such as Fire Protection Engineering, Boiler & Machinery Engineering, Infrared Thermographic Surveys, Jurisdictional Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspections, Natural Hazards Analysis, Diversified Services, and Loss Control Training. With over six decades of experience, GRC has consistently exceeded the conventional boundaries of property loss control services, aiming to furnish clients with innovative solutions that facilitate the attainment and preservation of a highly secure status.

We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant specializing in Property Loss Control for a remote/work-from-home role.

Key Duties:

- Perform property loss control assessments to analyze property and business interruption risks at client sites, adhering to NFPA Standards and other relevant international guidelines.

- Formulate recommendations grounded in established standards.

- Assess automatic fire protection systems and water supply infrastructures.

- Document and analyze building structures, occupancy types, and both special and natural hazards.

- Generate loss projections based on scenarios such as the Maximum Foreseeable Loss.

- Provide training and peer review for fellow consultants; act as a technical resource for the consulting team.

- Services offered to clients encompass training, manual and program development, and interpretation of codes or regulations.

- May involve preparing and presenting proposals, crafting service instructions, gathering client feedback, and generating stewardship reports.

- The role typically involves a higher level of technical engagement and direct interaction with senior client management, including risk and financial managers, as well as other key decision-makers.

- Deliver project management services, which may include special site visits, plan evaluations, and both oral and written presentations to clients.

- Domestic travel is a requirement, and international travel may be necessary with adequate prior notice.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 5 years of relevant consulting experience.

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification, preferably in engineering or a related field.

- Ideally, candidates should hold or be actively pursuing certifications such as Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineering (CE) status, NFPA or CFPA Diploma, or equivalent qualifications.

- Proven experience in managing major accounts.

- Recognized technical proficiency in the field.
