We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Amazon Deutschland. As a key member of our logistics center team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of various devices through planned preventive maintenance. Your prompt response to malfunctions and outages will be crucial in minimizing downtime and maintaining our high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks on a wide range of devices to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal performance
- Conduct thorough fault diagnoses and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency
- Utilize advanced tools and technologies to maximize device effectiveness and efficiency
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and best practices to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with senior colleagues to support the development and professional advancement of apprentices on-site
- Contribute to projects aimed at continuous improvement and the implementation of best practices across various EU sites
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be based at one of our logistics centers, where you will be responsible for carrying out a series of planned preventive maintenance measures on devices to ensure their safe operation. You will also respond promptly to malfunctions and outages, investigating the causes, finding solutions, and implementing them. Your suggestions for long-term improvements will be invaluable in maintaining our high standards of quality.
Requirements- Completed technical vocational training recognized by the Chamber of Commerce or proof of successfully completed university studies in engineering (mechanical engineering / electrical engineering or related fields) from a German university or recognized foreign university degrees (BA, B. Sc., MA, M. Sc., Dipl.-Ing.)
- Minimum of two years' professional experience in the corresponding trade
- Experience in maintaining industrial production equipment
- Advanced German language skills in speaking and writing
- Experience with condition monitoring
- Experience working with pressure and application machines
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of conveyor or automation systems
