Lightning Protection Technician
The primary objective of this position is to execute the installation of lightning protection and earthing systems across various structures, ensuring compliance with established safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Lightning Protection Technician, your duties will include:
- Implementing lightning protection and earthing systems on various structures, including data centers, while adhering to pre-designed plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Performing upgrades on existing lightning protection systems following specified guidelines.
- Completing necessary documentation, such as risk assessments, job sheets, and material schedules, and ensuring timely submission to the office team.
- Providing professional onsite communication and guidance to clients and project managers, representing the company with integrity.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Proven experience in the installation of lightning protection systems, particularly with Dehn HVI System or similar technologies.
- Experience in commercial and industrial project environments.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Relevant health and safety training certifications.
- Training in manual handling, working at height, and IPAF.
