Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at Metalshub GmbH. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing highly scalable and maintainable backend components for our Metalshub platform using Python/Django REST.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly scalable and maintainable backend components for our Metalshub platform using Python/Django REST
- Participate in the product development process from solution development to release and continuous optimization in exchange with our frontend developers, QA engineer, and product owners
- Translate complex business requirements into solutions based on an agile approach and develop our internal management interfaces
- Involved in the selection of new technologies to raise our Metalshub trading platform to a new level
- Work closely in an agile team with code reviews and proactively share your knowledge and experience
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in backend development of web-based, scalable systems and applications
- Good knowledge of Python/Django REST as well as PostgreSQL, Celery, and Redis
- TDD mindset and experience with integration and unit tests
- Ability to think outside the box and interested in other topics besides pure backend development/architecture
- Balance between focusing on details and getting things done
