Your Role: Medical Device Preparation Unit (AEMP)

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team of skilled professionals in the Medical Device Preparation Unit (AEMP). In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and effective use of medical devices within our healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Process instrument cycles meticulously, encompassing cleaning, disinfection, inspection, maintenance, packing, sterilization, and release of medical devices.
  • Adhere strictly to hygiene protocols and legal guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Operate a range of specialized medical devices within the AEMP, including cleaning and disinfection equipment, steam sterilizers, sealing devices, and ultrasound baths.
  • Document all preparation steps thoroughly and accurately, ensuring complete traceability and accountability.
  • Transport disposal and sterilization carts efficiently and safely.
  • Manage repairs and order supplies effectively to ensure smooth operation of the AEMP.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a Technical Sterilization Assistant I / II certification.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Exhibit respectful interaction based on Christian values with colleagues and patients.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Display resilience, flexibility, and dedication to fulfilling the role's responsibilities.
  • Ideally, have several years of experience in medical device sterilization.
