PhD Student Position in Intrinsically Disordered Proteins Research

The Leibniz-Forschungsinstitut für Molekulare Pharmakologie (FMP) is seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join the group 'Integrated Structural Dynamics' led by Dr. Sigrid Milles. The successful candidate will study the conformational dynamics of intrinsically disordered proteins involved in circadian time keeping.
The research will focus on understanding the conformational dynamics and interaction landscape of these proteins using integrated single molecule fluorescence and NMR spectroscopy approaches. The position is an 65% position for doctoral research and is initially limited to 3 years with the potential for extension.

Key responsibilities:
- Conduct research on intrinsically disordered proteins using NMR and single molecule FRET

Requirements:
- Master's degree in biochemistry, biophysics, or a related field
- Strong background in protein dynamics and NMR spectroscopy
