Senior Supply Chain Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute procurement orders with vendors in accordance with established guidelines and schedules.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation, including shipping papers and letters of credit, are thorough and precise.
  • Oversee adherence to relevant regulations, such as minimum order quantities and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain consistent communication with manufacturing facilities and our team in China to guarantee prompt shipments and compliance with quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-departmental teams, including production, purchasing, and logistics, to align supply strategies with corporate goals.
  • Regularly update internal stakeholders on supply planning initiatives, address any challenges, and gather feedback for ongoing enhancement.
  • Utilize SAP or other ERP systems to ensure accurate tracking of orders, delivery timelines, and receipt of goods.
  • Lead and engage in special initiatives aimed at refining procurement processes and strengthening supplier partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Completed apprenticeship or degree in business administration or a related discipline.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in supplier management, administration, or procurement.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Essential experience with SAP or another ERP system.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication abilities, capable of conveying information clearly and professionally.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong aptitude for numerical analysis.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Capacity to excel in a dynamic work environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
