About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer / SPS Specialist to join our team at The People Finding Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop SPS programs using various control systems (B&R, Siemens)
  • Perform functional testing for new installations and modifications (FAT)
  • Assist in the commissioning of machines
  • Document process-relevant data during installation, modification, and troubleshooting
  • Provide technical support to colleagues in the hotline
  • Develop innovative programming solutions
  • Coordinate with service technicians for machine commissioning
  • Focus on automation and control systems
  • Work primarily in the office and remotely, with occasional on-site presence required
  • Travel for business purposes (approximately 5% of the time)
Requirements
  • Relevant education in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Experience in SPS programming, installation, and configuration, as well as testing of software systems
  • Strong understanding of automation and control systems
  • Excellent customer orientation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, organized, and with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in English
