Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with GMP standards through thorough cleaning and disinfection of workspaces.
  • Assess and manage the necessary production materials and aids, ensuring quality and quantity.
  • Monitor adherence to specified idle times for equipment.
  • Oversee the operational readiness of cleaning devices, autoclaves, and other essential equipment.
  • Document all cleaning and maintenance activities accurately.
  • Receive and conduct visual inspections of equipment designated for cleaning.
  • Coordinate with processing facilities to prioritize the cleaning and sterilization sequence of equipment.
  • Differentiate between equipment parts requiring manual versus automated cleaning methods.
  • Disassemble production machinery as needed.
  • Perform manual cleaning in accordance with established SOPs and maintain documentation.
  • Execute mechanical cleaning using validated loading and cleaning protocols.
  • Reassemble production equipment following SOP guidelines.
  • Conduct autoclaving or sterilization of production tools based on SOPs and validated loading protocols.
  • Review logs and records related to cleaning equipment and sterilization processes.
  • Carry out automated pressure holding tests according to specific programs.
  • Label equipment with appropriate shelf life information.
  • Input data into accompanying documentation for equipment.
  • Collect samples in line with validation and qualification standards for cleaning equipment, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as checking dishwasher screens and functional testing of loading carts.
  • Log maintenance activities in the designated logbook.
  • Identify and report any abnormalities in systems to supervisors, assisting in their resolution.
  • Recognize and communicate process-related deviations to superiors, providing assistance in resolving issues.
  • Process orders in SAP for the assembly of sterile containers.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires up to 18 months of training.
  • Must be willing to work full continuous shifts, including holidays and weekends.
