Electrical Systems Engineer for Retrofit Projects

Sternico GmbH is a leading provider of digital solutions for the railway industry, specializing in innovative technologies and services across Europe.

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to contribute to our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in integrating cutting-edge digital systems into trains, railways, and wagons.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Analyze existing electrical schematics and develop comprehensive concepts for incorporating digital systems into railway infrastructure.
  • Create and meticulously maintain electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and component lists using EPLAN P8 software.
  • Contribute to the development of modern and modular control cabinet designs.
  • Collaborate effectively with mechanical and technical support teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Your Qualifications:
  • Possess a completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or an equivalent qualification in electrical engineering.
  • Demonstrate several years of experience in electrical planning and design, preferably with proficiency in EPLAN products.
  • Experience in control cabinet, machinery, or plant construction is highly advantageous.
  • Exhibit fluency in both German and English.
