Cofinity-X GmbH, a collaborative venture of leading industry giants, is seeking a talented and driven Net Developer to join our dynamic team. We are building an innovative open marketplace for business applications and services within the automotive sector, focusing on secure data exchange and adhering to Gaia-X and Catena-X principles.

As a Net Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance REST APIs that power our platform. You will work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a team of experts to create robust and scalable solutions.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain secure and efficient REST APIs using .NET technologies.
  • Manage database migrations and ensure data integrity and performance through Entity Framework.
  • Implement encryption and security best practices to protect sensitive data throughout the system.
  • Contribute to the overall architecture of our platform, focusing on scalability and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with the team to solve complex implementation challenges creatively and analytically.
  • Participate in open-source projects, particularly within the Eclipse Foundation, to contribute to the wider developer community.
  • Develop unit tests and ensure a robust end-to-end development process.
Your Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with proven experience in backend development.
  • Deep understanding of .NET framework, Entity Framework, database migration, RESTful API construction, and encryption principles.
  • Proficiency with Visual Studio Unit Testing Framework, NUnit, MSTest, and API development/testing tools like Postman.
  • Solid grasp of security by design principles and best practices.
  • Ability to contribute to system architecture discussions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on developing robust and innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver high-quality results.
  • Basic understanding of open-source projects and cross-project collaborations.
