Business Mathematics-Actuarial Science Dual Study Program

The Business Mathematics-Actuarial Science Dual Study Program at Continentale Krankenversicherung a.G. is a unique opportunity for students to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of business mathematics and actuarial science, while also developing their skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Program StructureThe program consists of seven semesters, with the first six semesters spent at the Technical University of Rosenheim and the seventh semester dedicated to an internship. During the semester breaks, students will participate in practical phases in various departments within the company. The program is designed to provide students with a broad range of skills and knowledge, including:
- Mathematics and Computer Science: Students will gain a deep understanding of mathematical and computational concepts, including data analysis, statistical modeling, and programming.
- Actuarial Science: Students will learn about the principles of actuarial science, including risk management, insurance mathematics, and financial modeling.
- Business Sciences: Students will develop a strong understanding of business principles, including finance, accounting, and marketing.

The selection process for this program includes an on-site aptitude test, an interview, and a final decision. The aptitude test assesses students' memory skills, language abilities, and mathematical skills. The interview provides an opportunity for students to learn more about the program and for the company to learn more about the students. The final decision is based on the students' performance in the aptitude test and interview.
